ENTERPRISE CHALLENGE

School of Applied Sciences

Do you have an idea you're ready to bring to life, develop into a business, charity or social enterprise? if your answer is YES, this is for you!

Enterprise Challenge

About

The School of Applied Sciences (SoAS) Enterprise Competition is our enterprise ideas challenge for students, with exciting prizes donated by the department in partnership with the UWE Bristol Enterprise team. This competition aims to create and foster an environment where SoAS students can develop and demonstrate knowledge, abilities, and skills essential for various career pursuits. It is also a great opportunity for students to test ideas in a safe space and turn these ideas into practical solutions.

The School of Applied Sciences invites all undergraduate and postgraduate students in SOAS (School of Applied Sciences) to take part in the Enterprise Challenge—a chance to transform your concept into a thriving business, charity, or social venture.

Compete for cash prizes, mentoring from the UWE Entrepreneurship team, workspace access, and media features.
Whether your idea is social, scientific, community-focused, technological, or business-based, this is your opportunity to test it in a supportive, inspiring environment. Submit your expression of interest by Friday, 20 March 2026, and pitch your way to success!

For inquiries, email Dr. Faatihah Niyi-Odumosu at faatihah.niyi-odumosu@uwe.ac.uk.
